New piece - Outback Angels

Updated: Aug 8, 2019

My latest one-act piece is Outback Angels - yes, I definitely have a theme about angels going on! It has a cast of three young people - Annabelle (16), Pete (13) and Lainey (around 10) and is set on a cattle station in WA.

Following the death of her mother, 16 year old Annabelle is sent, against her wishes, from London to a cattle station in outback WA to stay with her late mother’s best friend and family. Life becomes interesting when the internet connection dies and she suddenly has to play ‘nanny’ to the younger Pete and his sister, Lainey. In the end Annabelle finds a new connection, one she never expected.

It will be performed in August as a part of Stirling Players' mini-season for young people, From Shakepeare to the Outback, and will hopefully be a Youthfest entry too.
